About Sara Madrid
“Dependable.” “A can-do attitude.” “Charisma and joy that lights up a room.” These are the words Sara’s coworkers and associates use to describe her.
More than just a sunny disposition, Sara’s personality and character have been integral to her success. It’s always been important to her to be true to her convictions: honesty, integrity, compassion, and kindness. Not only does she live by them personally, but they’ve been a driving force throughout her career.
After earning her degree in communications from the University of Rhode Island, Sara gained some early marketing experience with an internship at the Newport Harbor Corporation and working for Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness Center. Following that, she spent several years as a pharmaceutical rep, where she was acknowledged for exceptional customer service and earned a company-wide Star Award. Then, in 2012, she began work in business development, developing partnerships in the family show and touring event genre.
Throughout Sara’s 10-year tenure in business development at Prolific 1, she was given steadily increased responsibility, culminating in being awarded the title, Senior Business Development Manager. In her last year with the company, she was instrumental in increasing revenue on the largest account by 40% through gap analysis, pushing contract terms, and developing additional purchasing and selling strategies. Though ambitious, goal-oriented, and passionate about metrics, it’s her ability to cultivate and anchor relationships in authenticity, empathy, and transparency that has set her apart as a leader in her organization. Now, Sara is bringing her business acumen and energetic presence to Digiarks to ensure our clients receive world class, personalized services and strategies to make their businesses succeed.
Never questioning, “can we accomplish this?” Sara prefers to ask, “how can we accomplish this?” Her tenacity, commitment, and creativity make her a valuable asset we’re excited to share with our clients.
Aside from her career, Sara serves as a Rally Booster and Mentor for The Mom Project, an organization dedicated to growing and enriching the careers of mothers in the workforce. She coaches women on topics related to professional development, goal setting, and balancing the demands of motherhood, as well as following up with them to create accountability and offer guidance.
At home, Sara is dedicated to her early-morning exercise routine, her three small children, and her husband, Rob, not necessarily in that order.
